Craftsmanship

Six stages. One continuous hand.

From raw clay to a piece ready for export, every stage is carried out with the same attention an artisan would give a single, one-off commission.

01

Clay Preparation

Raw clay is sourced locally and conditioned — kneaded and rested — for consistent texture and workability.

02

Forming

Artisans shape each piece by hand on the wheel or through hand-building, following reference forms for consistency.

03

Drying

Pieces dry gradually in a controlled environment to prevent warping or cracking before firing.

04

Firing

Kiln-fired at calibrated temperatures appropriate to the clay body and intended application.

05

Finishing

Glazing, natural matte finishing, or surface texture work, depending on the collection.

06

Inspection

Every piece is checked against our internal export quality standard before moving to packaging.

The Artisans

Skill passed down, not standardized away.
